| Review: I. You.These Words spoken by the grace of ... Amon Goethe (Ralph Fiennes) during the movie aptly be used to signify the theme of this movie: the power and forgiveness.I I am part of the generation of post-war who were not lucky enough to experience a great war. After they had him watching this movie, I have great respect and feelings of those who suffered at times, be it the Holocaust or the war in Nam. This movie was just waiting to do and Im glad that he was a good man who dared to take up the challenge. People should not others do it justice.The film focuses on how a German named Oskar Schindler saved the lives of thousands of Jews, by using them to work in factory during World War II. However, I think the first film is not intended to show us the horrors of war, but goodness Schindlers. Some of these scenes are the most accurate and graphics all the time captured here celluloid. People were hunted for any particular reason, hiding in fear, peeled and gased abuse ...... so much so that the spectators watching it first arrangements were affected significantly. We never got to the flip side of war in many Hollywood productions, which only focuses on the activities and unrealistic Gung-ho heroes. (Another great film by Spielberg could save Pte Ryan again) at the end of the war and its horrors and faithfully restored audience.Like film Raging Bull, shot it very well in black and white to reflect the era and tone of the film. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes are excellent, especially the last pair protrayal his servants of Amon Goethe. The scene where they talk about the power and coming up with a lot of Jews in favor of classic Amon young boy is one of my fav! |
